Estera Saue New Development Seeks a Name

Big changes evoke big emotions, and it’s entirely human. Estera is embarking on creating the largest new development in Saue municipality yet, and our goal is to do it transparently, valuing the community and involving locals as much as possible. Although we went through a lengthy process with an award-winning agency to choose a name for the new development, based on community feedback, we are open to a solution where we choose the name for the new development together with the locals.

To this end, we are opening a competition to find a suitable name for the Estera Saue new development coming to Vanamõisa village. We welcome all interested parties to participate!

What does the process look like?

The name selection will take place in two voting rounds, and the final decision will rest with the community. The timeline and specific activities of the process are as follows:

• May 6-12: all interested parties can submit their name ideas here. This is an anonymous form, and it’s possible to submit multiple ideas.

• May 13-14: we will select three name candidates from the submitted ideas and check their availability. These three names will proceed to the second voting round.

• May 15-19: during the public vote, everyone can choose their favorite from the three name candidates. The name with the most votes will become the name of the new development.
